Product Description: Two whole bone-in, skin-on turkey legs,
including thigh and drumstick. Portion of back attached. Deep
basted up to 15% with natural turkey broth. Sold frozen.
Roasting Instructions: Remove plastic bag from thawed
roast. Place flat on rack in shallow pan skin side up.
Insert meat thermometer* into innermost part of roast.
Determine total roasting time using chart below. Cover with lid
or loose aluminum foil tent. Roast until internal temperature
reaches 165°. Remove cover for the last 30 minutes for
final browning.
Approximate roasting times:
Conventional oven (325°F/165°C) – 30-40 minutes/lb.
Convection oven (300°F/150°C) – 25-35 minutes/lb.
*Always use a meat thermometer, never rely on appearance alone.
